Gentleman, anybody?
Whoever thought that there are still some men who can be considered a gentleman? Let’s just face it. Like out of 10 men? I think its only 3-4 men who can be tagged as a gentlemen. In commuting, to and fro the office, nobodys going to give their seat to you. They will just look the other way. I know (we) women shouts INDEPENDENCE and EQUAL RIGHTS. But hey, a simple gesture of offering your seat or opening doors to women can give a smile to us and even touch our hearts. Too cheezy!
Anyway, my point is. I encountered one yesterday and its really nice. I felt that at least somebody noticed little ole helpless me. LOL! Went to Trinoma, a mall somewhere in Quezon City Philippines, me and my boyfie decided to go there by MRT or simply by train. Of course, most of them are filled up so we have no choice but to squeeze inside. Whew, 7 stations before our terminal and I’m standing amidst these guys. Then, lo and behold! This guys just suddenly offered his seat. Of course, I initially said no but he insisted. It made me smile, wondering who this guy was. It’s funny to think that a complete stranger would offer his seat to me. It’s rare. Kudos to that red shirt guy!!!!
